We went to the Sir Norman Wisdom Weatherspoons restaurant for a meal out while staying down in the area for our daughter to attend an open day at Kent University,It is large inside with plenty of tables to sit and eat at,It was very busy on our visit on Friday evening,The food we ordered was very tasty and filled us up nicely. I literally just stopped to have a quick cold drink and use their toilet. It was a baking hot day so I bought a Thatchers Orange Cider and ice. It was absolutely perfect! Decent price too. The toilets were clean. The staff were friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant. Zero complaints!

It was all good until we got asked to leave even though it was only 9 pm and almost empty. I understand that laws are laws, but they were rather rude about it. But the food was really good. I just recommended that if you have children go there a long time before 9 pm so that you have enough time to finish your meal.
