I have visited while cycling with friends on several occasions Very good selection of cake to enjoy.It's lovely to sit outside in good weather ! The Friars cafe is in a good position to stop while cycling.
Visited yesterday 6th October with my husband and had a delicious lunch. The 2 ladies serving were extremely busy but very friendly and welcoming. We will be visiting again with friends to try the cakes next time as the lady serving said they are lovely but we were too full from lunch to try them. Thank you for a lovely visit.

Went here for lunch with a friend. There was no service with a smile, in fact the lady who served us was rude and abrupt and when the food was brought over to our table it was just slammed down in the table. Shame because the food is nice and it doesn't get crowded maintaining a peaceful and pleasant
