What a gem of a place. Stepped in and was immediately treated as family. Staff and local patrons were so welcoming. Home away from home, but with beer! Thank you Scott and all of you brilliant people!
As I mentioned above, businesses with history, football and so on in general do not deserve to "die" like this!... Today, the seventeenth of September, I was here. It is an amazing business that has passion. I'm not a native Dover, nor an Englishman, but I can at least recommend this wonderful establishment full of noisy and good-hearted Englishmen. ME: I am sitting on a comfortable bar stool, upholstered. My "ritka" (it's mean a "BUM") is fine... I will order a beer AND ASK...read full review
