Me and my parents wanted a nice pub for some lunch. I had seen this pub recommended alot so I decided to book a table. First impression pub looked lovely, large parking area, really nice garden with outdoor seating. Excellent food. Party of 6 diners, two had pork belly, two linguine, two burgers. The pork was superb: crispy crackling, loads of meat, fluffy mash, red cabbage and gravy. A word of caution, make sure not to miss the right turn to the pub, off the access road! Easily done in the dark.

Lovely countryside location but we were so delightfully surprised by how brilliant the food was!They put up a table for 9 last minute, the staff made us feel at home and welcome, the food was delicious. Not one of us was disappointed with the portion size or quality, even with the extensive variety available on the menu. We will be back - thank you!
