Mother’s Day set menu lunch - wasn’t blown away which was slightly disappointing considering other reviews are generally good.The roast was just bland, no seasoning. Overdone Yorkshire pudding and chewy beef. The starter and pudding are the 3*. However, the pudding didn’t have alot of sticky toffee sauce - to me, this is the best bit!Atmosphere felt flat and the staff didn’t know the names of each dish they bought out, seemed inexperienced but were polite.Would like to re-try in the summer months to see what the hype is about.

Went here today after a trip to the castle for a treat for my mums 80th. We had some dietary requirements are they were followed perfectly. The food was wonderful. The presentation was lovely and tasted great. The team were lovely as well, checked on us but not to much. The seating area outside is so pretty and peaceful.

Six of us came here for lunch on a sunny Sunday afternoon prior to visiting Hever Castle Gardens. In all honesty, the food was not very good. You order inside at the bar and then they bring the food and drinks out to you at your table. My husband‘s Hever burger was dreadful, and very overcooked. My Tandoori chicken and naan bread were tough and the onion bhaji’s very over cooked. Such a shame as the location is beautiful and very handy if you’re visiting Hever Castle. Definitely would not come back here again.
