Chiddingstone Rd, Chiddingstone, EdenbridgeOur spot next to home is usually "The Weatsheaf" pub in Bough Beach. Yesterday we decided to have a little walk before having our usual Sunday drink. After half an hour through our lovely Eden valley we ended up here at "The Castle"...The last few times we came to Chiddingstone this pub was sadly closed, so we took the opportunity to stop and try it ?.Great we did! as I had the best ever pint of local cider ? in the whole world, not exaggerating, I travelled a lot. This strong (7.5) cider is made locally by an old man. I even bought 2 bottles for a treat at home...Very friendly but busy young staff, We will definitely come back here for a roast! But at a less busy time.Then we went back to the Weatsheaf and had a second drink there... ?. As lovely as ever ?Great Sunday as you can see ?

Quality Tandoori
106, 108 High St, EdenbridgeGreat meal on a Saturday evening. We left it very last minute and they were able to accommodate us. The food was amazing. We had takeaway from here before but dining in is even better. The service was very good even on a busy Saturday evening. Thank you! We were too hungry to remember to take photos!

The Rock
Hoath Corner, Chiddingstone Hoath, EdenbridgeA big thank you to Joe and Karen at The Rock Inn for accommodating our group of ramblers for lunch today. From our original booking, confirmation and on the day we were made to feel so welcome. The food was delicious, the pub atmosphere great and particular thanks to Karen - service was brilliant. A number of our group had not been before and we'll all definitely be back. Everyone said how good it has been, thanks again.

The Kentish Horse

Great local porter, fresh, handmade food, friendly service, and even some good conversation if you belly up to the bar to chat with friends you haven't met yet. Can't wait to go back. Well maintained with a large car park and a nice beer garden. Roger is a great landlord and there are regular events including quizzes and themed evenings.

Hever Rd, How Green, EdenbridgeWent here today after a trip to the castle for a treat for my mums 80th. We had some dietary requirements are they were followed perfectly. The food was wonderful. The presentation was lovely and tasted great. The team were lovely as well, checked on us but not to much. The seating area outside is so pretty and peaceful.
