Hever Rd, Hever, EdenbridgeWe returned to this pub after a number of years. I'm so glad we did, it's back to its old self! The food was really good - we had the steak and ale pie, fish and chips, and the duck; dessert was Sicilian lemon tart. All the dishes were very good, tasty with appropriate portion sizes, and all served with vegetables ( rather than charging extra as 'sides'). It's a beautiful pub with a lovely ambiance, and it was busy even on a Monday lunchtime. The service was friendly and efficient; my only criticism is that we were left standing in the entrance, with no one directing us to the bar to find our table in spite of staff walking past us several times. But overall, a great experience.

The Castle Inn Chiddingstone
Chiddingstone Rd, Chiddingstone, EdenbridgeWe recently had a group of Belgians wanting to experience the tradition and charm of an English village dating back to the 15th century together with a typical homemade lunch in the village pub.
Edward made sure that everything ran smoothly for the group.
The Ploughman's lunch was delicious and the service was top class and friendly.
Would highly recommend.

That said, the onion bhaji were great probably even better on a eat in, the lamb was melt in the mouth and delicious as was the chicken jalfrazi. Definitely want to eat in next time,

Hoath Corner, Chiddingstone Hoath, EdenbridgeWe stopped in with our two dogs for a bite to eat. What a place! The food was delicious, we recommend the sticky toffee pudding and the spiced crumble!! They were unreal. The staff were lovely and have created a very relaxing ambience. If we are back in the area, we will be coming back.

The environment was warm and cozy wirh a real fireplace, giving the entire pub a nice woody scent, it was the perfect place to stop for early dinner and end off our Sunday drive.

Absolutely fantastic food at good prices really friendly service and good rooms to match. Grounds of the restaurant are good and very private and relaxed.

33 High St, EdenbridgePerhaps one should not be surprised to find high quality Malaysian food in Kent but I was! We didn’t take photos of the items but greatly enjoyed the king prawns with sambal sauce, Malaysian fried noodles with chicken and prawns, Thai Tom Yum soup with prawn and egg fried rice. Everything was packed securely and ready for quick pickup. Prices very reasonable and service friendly and courteous. As a traveler in town to visit Hever Castle I can only hope to return someday ???

I had it with Coconut Rice, a Keema Naan and some poppadums I wouldnt hesitate to go back here. Being solely a takeaway the food prep was quick and I was in and out in two minutes.

Hever Rd, Hever, EdenbridgeGood breakfast. May I suggest not putting the butter on top of the hot toast which just turns it to oil. It was unbearably hot. Some fans would have been useful. I asked for black pepper and didn't get any. But overall it was a good breakfast and a peasant experience.
