A wonderful historic pub, with a friendly, interesting landlord who has much knowledge of the history of the pub and the surrounding area. The food was amazing, freshly prepared and cooked and it tasted as good as it looked. It was excellent value and we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. We will definitely return.

Sunday lunch today, this place is a new find, and serves wonderful homemade food, yep, not home made heated in the microwave, but proper home made food!I had a wonderful soup to start, and the veg curry, and the rest of the table went for the Sunday roast beef, I should have, but was not disappointed by the curry either.We enjoyed a warm welcome, and the reserved table was ready for us.This is a total jewel in the beautiful Kent countryside, in a nice old sleep village...Give...read full review

We called into the Four Elms for a spot of lunch whilst visiting friends in the area and we were were made to feel very welcome by the landlord. We ordered lunch which was homemade, hot and delicious and I look forward to returning when I’m next in the area. I wish there were more pubs like this near my home - I’m sure it’s a great “local”. Thank you to the landlord and chef for making lunch such a pleasant experience.
