We were about to take the Shuttle to go back to France when we decided to hop in. It was my very first Fish and Chips experience and I can proudly say that it did not disappoint. The food was everything that I expected it to be if not even better and the staff is very friendly. Honestly a great find!

Been here before and I always had a nice fish and chips takeaway meal. Yesterday I went again to have the takeaway and I have to say I was disappointed. I have ordered cod and chips and when I got home I discovered that I had a nondescript fish instead of cod. How do I know? It didn't smell like cod, didn't taste like cod, didn't look like cod. The fish was horrible and stinky. It was too late to go back to ask for a refund but I will not go back for fish supper at Papas.

All of the food was cold and susage in batter was no batter on the susage as it was as if it was sat there for hours. Was not worth £29 and i woukd not be going

Just popped in to get mother a small cod and chips. The service was excellent, as it wasn't very busy at that time of day. So I can't really comment on the atmosphere. Three stars for the food due to the fish batter being slightly under cooked. Also, the price was way too high. Guess that is the reason they're not busy.

Called in on Sunday evening after returning from France,I had cod and chips,my son had haddock and chips,beautifully cooked to order, ate in to save having a smelly car lol,staff are lovely, the chef came and asked us if everything was ok,will definitely call again when in Folkestone.
