Called in on Sunday evening after returning from France,I had cod and chips,my son had haddock and chips,beautifully cooked to order, ate in to save having a smelly car lol,staff are lovely, the chef came and asked us if everything was ok,will definitely call again when in Folkestone.
Stopped for a portion of chips at lunch time. They were fresh cooked which took a few minutes but worth the wait. Very good chips, hot and crispy.3 years ago was 1 star review Got to be the slowest fish and chip shop in kent. 25minute wait for sausage and chips! Even people that had placed telephone orders were having to wait and it wasnt even particularly busy in there! Avoid if you can unless you have a lot of time on your hands.

Just popped in to get mother a small cod and chips. The service was excellent, as it wasn't very busy at that time of day. So I can't really comment on the atmosphere. Three stars for the food due to the fish batter being slightly under cooked. Also, the price was way too high. Guess that is the reason they're not busy.
