Had previously bought beers as gifts at Christmas from their HarbourArm market stall, but this was our first time at The Beer Shop. Great choice for both beer and cider drinkers, along with a few cocktails on the menu too. Also had several items off the bar snack menu which were delicious, one of the nicest Brie cheeses!

Great bar in the centre of town always with a strong selection of craft beers. A good variety of continental and local options. Good atmosphere and 10/10 service, especially from the young French woman.

Tip top place, excellent beers with great staff who know their stuff. Loads of event nights on which has created a lovely friendly community with something for everyone, be it quiz night, sewing social, collage club, open mike, DJ take overs or meet the brewer. They do small plates and snacks but not hot food. The cheeses are amazing but most importantly the beer is fab. Always a great selection on the pumps and in the fridge. October fest here is good fun too. Just don't ask for a shandy, they don't do it.

Very nice quality cider, good ale selection. Clean toilet for every person. Easing going vibe. They had a private booking after 5 pm (17.00 hrs it's 40 to 50 people for that). Music not too loud and it's a good selection. Wheel chair access over one step. Tee shirt and tote bag on sale for a nice souvenir. I would pop in again for a pint. Free artist pictute sale wall for a month.
My first visit. My daughter treated me to lunch. Nice ipa shandy (I was driving)The cheese, bread & butter was incredible and my little dog was made welcome too. He also loved the cheese!
