Visiting Folkestone for the day were looking for a decent and interesting place to eat and found Market Place. The menu is good and varied, the decor and ambiance good and unlike other reviewers we found the service friendly good and efficient. We both had flatbreads, me halloumi and my husband deliciously marinaded chicken. Both dishes were really tasty and well presented. The carrot ginger and apple drink was equally delicious. A lovely lunch in a very nice place.
An absolute gem of a place - splendid food, coffees, and atmosphere. Perfect for lunch, breakfast and meet-ups. Service is impeccable - Jack, the manager, made me feel warmly welcome. I live in Folkestone, and this will be one of my regular spots.
