The service and assistance we received was excellent! Really attentive staff who helped with the mistake we made ordering via the QR code.\\nAsked if the food was OK just the right amount of times, made sure everything was good for us and generally very helpful and made us both feel very comfortable to stay once our meal was over. The food was tasty and hot.\\n\\nAll staff we encounterd were friendly, helpful and smiley.\\nAtmosphere inside was great. We were made to feel comfortable and nothing was too much trouble\\nThe tables are set at just the right distance from the next as well so for a date night, it was nice and private.\\n\\nNeither of us had ever been before and will definitely return again. :-)

Staff member was rude. We come in today with our 2 young children and nobody approached us at the front where we were waiting to be seated. Our children decided to sit in the booth at the very front near to where we were standing whilst we waited to be greeted and shown to our table, so we joined them to keep an eye on them. Waitress was busy elsewhere. Staff member from the bar who knew we were waiting there eventually came over and told us we couldn't sit at that table because it hadn't been properly laid - no polite greeting, no apology or a thank you for waiting. I explained we just sat there whilst we waited as the children had sat down (we had no problem being seated elsewhere). They responded in a rude tone and said they were "doing bits" and then they walked off to lay the table (I presume the one they wanted us to sit at). They had nothing else to say and just had a bad attitude, making us feel unwelcome. We decided not to dine there and we went to another restaurant. Appalling service before we could even sit properly and order!

I’ve been to a fair few Bella Italian’s in the past and always make the most of getting my tesco my clubcard vouchers to pay for the food…bonus. I’ve always found them a bit hit and miss and the food a little ‘Chuck In the microwave’. We visited here on Easter Sunday fully expecting to be packed but it was very quiet. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. The whole place was clean and tidy and the table and menus perfect. As a group of 5, the staff quickly grabbed another table to a join so that we had plenty of room. Staff were attentive and able to explain menu items when prompted. Food arrived quickly and hot and portion sizes were reasonable. Overall a well earnt 5 stars as staff clearly look after the place.

Food was good, prices very reasonable, atmosphere was warm and welcoming. Our server Harry was lovely. All in all a great evening. Will definitely be returning.

We had a great experience today at Bella Italia. Scott was very welcoming and went the extra mile to make sure our dining experience was pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble - we sat outside due to having our toddler and dog with us and without needing to ask, the heat lamps and music was turned on. Food was delicious and great service from the whole team on top of this is what makes us want to repeatedly go back to a restaurant, thank you for a lovely Thursday afternoon!Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu - my son loved it. Really delicious food on top of great value for money :)

Despite the restaurant being empty we stood for 10 minutes before being acknowledged.... We had a 50% of voucher for January given to us when we visited last month only to be told that we couldn't use it as it expired on the 17th....yet the voucher clearly said the whole of January and the manager who stunk of cigarette smoke was far from professional or helpful but we did eventually get the discount! The food was dry and presentation wasn't good at all, microwaved stodge sprung to mind! We skipped pud and coffee and won't be returning any time soon. Local it may be but I'd rather drive into Rochester to Mama Mias for a decent Italian Feast with happy and welcoming staff and food to die for!

1st ever visit the other day with my husband and daughter. They catered for my gluten free diet very well.Felt full from starters and mains couldn't manage a pudding! My husband and went for the festive menu and our daughter went for the main menu.I loved the mocktail I had something with apricots in. ?My husband went for the mint flavoured tea.It wasn't busy so we received great service.Dietary restrictions: As per my original comment above there is many Gluten Free options.

Was served by a lovely young lady called Fran and the food was great. Unfortunately however halfway through our starter the male manager on shift was physically threatened by I can only assume another male staff member. Thankfully a female member of staff (who was eating dinner with her family) got up and defused the situation by taking them all out thre back but it did put a bad atmosphere in the restaurant for the remainder of the meal.

Came in for a beer whilst waiting for mum to finish up here shopping. Morgan behind the bar went above and beyond. Exceptional service and phenomenal food!

I visited the restaurant with my family tonight and won't be returning.Drinks took a long time time to arrive and when they eventually came, one of them wasn't right. The starters also took a very long time to arrive and our main course even longer, to the point we were about to leave. To put it into perspective, it was a very quiet Sunday evening with not a lot of customers. We found the experience very frustrating, given we have two young children who had behaved very well but were getting increasingly upset and agitated at the wait, especially for the main course. What made it worse (for us adults) was seeing other customers have there tables cleared and food served before us, despite the fact that we had been seated before they arrived. One table next to us came when we were having our starters and managed to get they're mains before us, even though we were only ordering for three and they had a table of seven!Generally speaking the staff came across as lazy and didn't seem to care about the people eating. We were never asked if we wanted refills or even if everything was ok with the meal.Judging by how little the staff care, I highly doubt this review will be read by them but if I can potentially save someone time and money by them reading about my lacklustre time at least I might feel some what better about my poor experience.
