A large group of us (19) went, they went above and beyond to accommodate us. Gave us the entire restaurant end of the pub and kept us informed throughout. Special thank you to Matt who went above and beyond to help. Food was well cooked without a single complaint from any of the group. Will happily be visiting again.

A very nice Pub with good food & drink.The staff are nice, friendly & courteous.Went there for an 80's themed music night hosted by a DJ back in February 2023 & it was a really good night out,Been there several times since then & if your looking for a nice pub to go to for a drink & or a meal during the day time or evening I can recommend this pub.

We have been here several times, both as a couple and with all the family on Father's Day, the service and food is always faultless. The food is always fresh and hot, we've never had to wait too long and the chef will often ask us how if our meal is okay. Basic pub grub but clearly cooked with care and attention. Although we are not regulars, maybe once every month or two but the bar staff seem to recognise us and always greet us with a friendly hello. The photos on Trip Advisor do not do the pub justice, it's a lovely quaint pub and I will take some more up to date photos next time that we visit. We go out to lunch every week and so many pubs in the area are hit and miss but this one has been spot on every time. Keep up the great work guys!

The staff are great here particularly Matt and Ollie the beers always good and the burgers are great. Excellent service from a brilliant local pub, The quiz on Thursdays is a must too! and dog friendly to boot!

This was our first visit to the Flying Saucer, had a lovely meal, staff so friendly and Chef had a chat with us, will definitely be back.Parking: We came lunchtime on a Thursday and there was plenty of spaces in the car park

This is a cracking pub. Very local but everyone is friendly and welcoming (gets very noisy on big football match nights but never rowdy). Matt is the best bartender I've ever met and Olly and Sam are brilliant. Thursday quiz night is awesome. Great drinks, very reasonable prices, good food cooked with care and attention - what more could you ask for?
Great food; a choice of well kept, reasonably priced ales including a guest and staff who are all very welcoming.A locals' boozer owned by a national brewery (Greene King) is a rarity.Just a shame I don't live close enough to make it my regular haunt.This pub deserves to buck the trend and succeed for the effort all the staff put in to making customers feel part of this pub's community. Keep up the good work.

Went on a Sunday evening for a nice roast, I can say the food was amazing. Had a nice roast with pudding. The service was shocking, ordered at the table, took 35 minutes to get our drinks after asking for them. Then around 45 minutes for the food to come out, an around 50 minutes for the gravy to arrive, by this time the food started to get cold. Once finished the main, took around another 15 minutes for the pudding to arrive.Parking: Parking was good, plenty for that time of the day. Just watch the pot hole entering the car park

Had a lovely meal here tonight very friendly staff .my chips were forgotten but was quickly sorted by Caroline who was very funny .we were well looked after and we will be going back again
