Reservation made a week in Advance, Received what I thought was a courtesy call, earlier in the day, to confirm if I still wanted the table this evening. On Arrival I am told that the restaurant, is only open on Sundays. NOT GOOD and a TERRIBLE way to treat People.

Under new management ? Very very friendly made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in.Added bonus was the complimentary good on offer (very tasty) a bit later in the evening. Well recommend. So glad we now have a descent local to go to happy days!

Four of us had the steak and lobster on a Tuesday evening for £20 each (including a glass of wine or beer) and it was fantastic! Good quality steak, decent size half a lobster and perfect chips. We will definitely be back and highly recommend everyone else to give it a try. Thanks for a great evening!

We recently hired the function area for a buffet after a funeral. The pub provided a lovely cold buffet and hot drinks as requested. The decor was subtle and tasteful and the staff were so thoughtful and helpful prior to and during the “do”. Thank you to you both for all of your help.
