Recommended by friends, was not disappointed, food was great, staff warm and friendly, prices amazing compared with other chip shops in town and this had not affected the quality of the food, will definitely be going back and recommend everyone to try.
Had my first piece of skate from here on Saturday, it was large, with ample chips, enough for two. The only downside was the fish was cooked for a little too long, maybe five minutes less would have been ideal. The batter was fairly hard, and the fish going dry in places. I'll give it another go shortly and ask for it to be cooked for five minutes less. Nice friendly place.

Although local and within walking distance this was my first visit. A friendly greeting surrounding a colourful shop. After, completing my order and a cash only sale, I walked home. The cod potion was well cooked, no soggy pieces and tasted good. The chips were still nice and hot and thick cut. Altogether a satisfying experience which may be repeated.
