We had a gathering and organised a buffet. The food was amazing, was great value for money, with a great selection. The staff were so friendly and were always on hand when needed. They also provided us with exclusive use of the conservatory.

We were disappointed with our visit to the venue and will not be returning. The quality of our food was far from what we expected as shown by only part eating all 3 courses. Maybe trying to feed over 60 persons in one go was the reason, food was only warm and not representative of such a high reviewing venue. Maybe offering quality food rather than quantity should be the priority.

Personally I don't understand the good reviews! Food was very lackluster. The atmosphere lacks the pub paraphernalia and decorative touches you'd expect (the walls are almost bare!). Yorkshire pud was from the supermarket. Starter and dessert disappointing quality. The live music was decent. It is Christmas and busy, yes, but they've overpromised and overcharged for the experience provided. All in all, not up to scratch.
