Visited here this afternoon as one of thirteen motorbikers for lunch. We had pre booked the table but as we knew we wouldnt be able to get everyones choices in advance we weren't able to pre book food off the full menu (it's like herding cats) so they kindly gave us the "simplified" menu which suited us.They had a table ready for us and were very efficient with the drinks and food.No one complained about anything which is a first.My tuna mayo jacket potato and salad was lovely...read full review
We arrived at here late on a Sunday afternoon after visiting a nearby railway attraction thinking we would probably only get tea and cake, but were pleasantly surprised to find they were still serving Sunday lunch. One of us had the pork with the best crackling we have ever had, and the other had beef. Portions were large and they were happy to provide an extra plate so we could share with our son. Lovely Saturday breakfast. Both the smoked salmon scrambled egg English muffin and the Mighty Moot breakfast were delicious. Kind and quick service. We will be back next time we drive through!
