I’ve meant to come here for ages. Popped in with my mum and her little dog. A really lovely lady working behind the bar who has a dog. Great welcome. Good atmosphere. There are lots of lovely original Victorian touches to the pub. I’ll be back.
Very very nice place to be for a quiet drink with friends, and a nice lively to be in the evenings and weekends.I know the landlord personally, and when no busy himself takes the time to talk to you.Staff are friendly also.

A total change from my last experience in this pub. Amazing what happy bar staff can do to the morale of the customers.Was a lively happy pub with decent ale on this visit. One of the rare pubs in Herne Bay where you can watch the football too.
