I am a local, when I noticed this place did Sushi I just had to try it. It was excellent, red tiger prawns, spicy tuna, Alaska and sea weed salad are just some of the dishes I tried. My only criticism is the price on the shop board was lower than the menu in the leaflets. They charged us the price inside the leaflets. The staff are very friendly and the fish chips are very nice too. Don’t tell anyone! I don’t want to queue for too long for my food!

I don't think you'll find many fish and chip shops that can deliver fantastic sushi. We've enjoyed fish and chips from Kings Fish Bar for some time, always excellent. On this occasion we thought we would a selection of some of their Japanese dishes. We had a selection of sushi, they have a wide variety of dishes we concentrated on prawn dishes, they were all excellent, only matched by the service. Not at all what you would expect form a fried fish shop.
