“We have visited before. Had friends to stay from Scotland.
We thought we knew the ideal place to take them to.
Phoned the week before.
Tried booking an afternoon tea but wernt doing them as only one person could do and they were on holiday.
So booked for anormal table. Ordered sandwiches as they didn't have any jacket potatoes. Crust was a bit stale.
Service was okay.”

“We had a lovely Bank Holiday Monday lunch at The Tickled Trout in Ashford. The setting is beautiful, with kids and dogs enjoying a splash in the river, and plenty of shade to relax under from the sun. It’s a really welcoming spot with a relaxed atmosphere, perfect for families. A great place to enjoy good food in a picturesque location – we’ll definitely be back.”
