We stumbled upon this cosy pub in the countryside of New Yalding and we’ve been hooked ever since! My family and I have visited four times since November, and each visit has been an absolute treat. I think you need to be a local to enjoy this pub. There's not much space inside in the pub area, the ale was okay but I wish I'd had a wine or bottled beer. The good bit was the gorgeous fire between the restaurant and pub area, if you can get there it's lovely.

Went on one of my wife's Groupon adventures last night. Sometimes the restaurants can be underwhelming but sometimes you can find a real gem and last night was certainly the latter. We arrived at the Walnut tree in Yalding to be greeted by a beautiful Tudor style building built in 1492. We were shown to our table and ordered drinks while we perused the menu.
