Always found the Five Bridges to be excellent on my many visits. The staff seem to have changed a lot recently which has helped improve the overall customer service and quality of food so whatever they’re doing, it’s working! Surroundings need some love as the varnish is damaged on most tables and the chairs need reupholstered. That aside, the ambience more than makes up for this shortfall. Will be back no doubt to sample the club sandwich once again.

I was very pleasantly surprised with my visit here. The steak was cooked to perfection, the chips were the best I have had for many years. The only downside was that the peas were slightly firmer than I would like, but that is just my preference. Customer service was first class. I will definitely visit again!
