We had slow roasted pork belly. It was so tender and superbly cooked. The pesto and the accompanying sauce complemented it perfectly. The staff were very good too. From this experience, I cannot understand the negative reviews.
Liked fish set menu 3 courses for £30. Checked day before set menu was the same-assured it was. Venue was cold. Smoked salmon starter small but salmon tasted amazing, sourdough crisp teeth shattering. Main was fish stew. Didn't come with any bread/potatoes or veg-very mean! Ordered portion seasonal veg(cabbage & kale) & fries. Very small portions-veg watery & 50% stalks & when asked for another portion fries told they had run out. We ordered four coffees all very small cup size offered a pastry ie croissant no buttter just jam and frangipani had two of each and £50 for a quick half hour stop so expensive for something so basic felt conned and disappointed
