Beautiful pub, loved the decor and taken a great deal of pride in their Christmas Decorations. We were having a rare family get together for brunch. Having waited over an hour for our food, whilst watching others come in, order food and leave having eaten. Our food eventually arrived.... cold, the toast was brought before the rest of the food and that was already cold. The one before last meal arrived which my husband said wasn't too bad, although the chips were mainly burnt and inedible. We eventually decided to complain to a very rude barmaid who made some unprintable remarks to a man sitting at the bar. Because I prefer my tea with my meal, I didn't drink it, expecting my meal, eventually asking her to pop it in the microwave, which she did, but to be honest would have been better to have to made me a fresh one. By this time everyone had either eaten or not bothered because how cold it was and mine never arrived at all. Yes we did get a part refund and won't be returning. At no time did the barmaid/waitress come over and apologise for the delay or warn us that it was a long wait. In terms of pubs and cafes I would say they were not particularly busy, constant but not busy. They need to take a trip to The Racing Greyhound and see how a pub/restaurant is run.

Visited the Mariners Bar this morning for breakfast before we left Ramsgate. This was the first time attending this venue. On the inside it was being decorated for Christmas and was looking fantastic. We chose this place because they allowed dogs in, which was perfect for us and it was next door to the Travel inn which was were we was staying for 2 nights. The wife and I both had full English which consisted of 2 sausages,2 bacon, mushrooms, beans, fried egg, 2 slices of toast and mug of tea x 2. Everything was tasty and well cooked. The dog had a bowl of water, piece of bacon and sausage from my plate and she no complaints :) The lady that served us was friendly and made us feel welcome. If we return to Ramsgate, I would definitely return to this venue because the menu which they serve all day, had a good selection and had something for everybody. I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Was very quiet due to ☔ rain. But this place offers one of the best breakfasts in Kent..

We visited the Mariners Bar on a family break away. We were not expecting much, however we were very pleased to have found a real gem of Ramsgate. The staff, especially Laura, we're incredibly friendly. The pub had a refurbishment during the COVID lockdown and it is absolutely fabulous. The attention to detail and the decor all add to make a great ambience. The pub is wheelchair friendly and dog friendly. The menu on a Tuesday night a smaller pizza and sides menu, but we had a fantastic meal which was very reasonably priced. We visited the next day on a Wednesday and there was a different, much fuller menu choice. However, even the pizza and sides menu had plenty of choice. Chicken wings, salt and pepper squid, garlic mushrooms etc. The pizza was cooked to perfection. It wasn't crowded so it was easy to get a table. Would 100% recommend this pub to anyone.Kid-friendliness: Yes 100% child friendly and very accommodating kitchen staffWheelchair accessibility: Yes the pub is wheelchair accessible women's toilets are wheelchair accessible gents are not as downstairs.

Great friendly pub. A wide range of spirits and beers ?. Lovely mix of clientele from young to old. Live band when I visited, playing a great set of rock hits that had the whole pub singing. Will be back soon ?

This pub is beautifully appointed with a nautical theme and interesting resin tables however, the bar staff are miserable especially the manager and they put cheap Rum in their Bombay bramble bottle. If you’re not local you’re not wanted.

Staff were very rude!Would not return again!Date was 27.08 around 9pm.Additionally Bombay Bramble gin is red and not orange, as this is my regular drink of choice, I do know what it tastes / looks and smells like! To be told by the female staff in question, I didn’t know what I was talking about was offensive and rude!

My first time of attending the regular jam night on the first Wednesday of the month. It was well run and thoroughly enjoyable with a good standard of musicianship. The atmosphere was friendly, the staff were attentive and the venue had laid on a free buffet for all the customers.Parking: Nearby on-street parking is pay-and-display and hard to find. However, there is a large multistorey nearby.

We popped in to make sure they had pizza bases before walking dogs and asked them to save two for us, which the barmaid said was fine. We said we'd be an hour. An hour later when we went in she informed us that they had no more pizza bases - she didn't think we were coming back. Why employ people like this? We've been in here loads of times but never again.

Fantastico pizza! I am a very very fussy customer when it comes to pizza. it has to arrive piping hot, it did. It has to have topping all over the pizza, right to the edge, it did. It has to be a nice, cooked, thin base, it was. It has to be big, and flavourful, it was. It has to be value for money…. it most definitely was! I can wholeheartedly recommend The Mariners Bar as a great place to go for a pizza and a drink…. it really was fantastico!
