I was invited to a private birthday party at The Vale Tavern. I remember a dark, dingy looking pub and only attended garden parties.Now it is bright and so friendly. The food was a lovely spread. There was live music from the main bar and lively music after.Children were allowed in the back room where the delicious food was laid out. Brilliant family establishment, at short notice I had to change the venue of my daughters 1st birthday party, the laddy I dealt with at the vale was absolutely brilliant and fitted my daughters party in and put a brilliant buffet on which was a perfect amount of food for an exceptional price. Nice people, the buffet was good and the children enjoyed the bouncy castle and playground equipment. The grass was freshly cut and tended. The pub is very welcoming with a friendly atmosphere.The frame for a marquee is up but no marquee. The tables were in a open sided building which had items stored in it. If this was sorted it would make the garden area even better.
