This is a very special Micropub. Beer is kept exceptionally well and the regulars are ensured eternal peace. I would recommend you take home a bottle or two of St Lawrence Grid Iron brewed by the local vicar in aid of church funds .
A wonderful and friendly micro pub run by Colin. It has something of a maritime theme and is named after the "Conqueror" paddle steamer. Real ales and ciders available. Well worth a visit, check the website ( conqueror-alehouse.co.uk )for opening times. Enjoy your visit!M.B.

Slightly bigger than it used to be!Still a cosy little pub with friendly customers and staff.If you aren't a people person, this might not be the place for you, but if you've got a sense of humour and enjoy conversation, it's fantastic.Nice range of cask ales, bottled lagers and a small selection of wines and spirits.
