I am a guide dog user, and whenever I go to a new place where my dog and me are treated really well, I always feel incredibly welcome. This was the case here. My dog was welcomed and got some water. always makes her very happy. We had breakfast and it was absolutely amazing. When I asked about the size difference between the small and large mugs, I was handed the cups so I could feel how big they were and make my decision that way. This was so helpful and not a lot of places do this. It’s the small things that really make a big difference. Of course, the breakfast was very yummy and super fresh. Really enjoyed our morning there. Would absolutely recommend and will definitely come back.

This is the first time I've been to Zest Cafe. Food was lovely, staff were so friendly and I left with some home made yummy cakes. I would definitely recommend people to visit this lovely cafe ?

Love that there are vegan options on the menu but would suggest some further experiments with the vegan sunrise breakfast. The scrambled tofu tasted like it had a large amount of nutritional yeast in it and the spinach seemed to have been cooked in lemon juice. There were just some very strong flavours going on. Passed the feedback on to the team and will be back next time I’m in town to try it again ?

Zest is a great place to go for a meal or even just a coffee. The food is great and they have loads of vegan and vegetarian options, all clearly made with love and care. Whenever we have friends or family down from other areas we take them here, everyone has enjoyed it and have asked to go back on subsequent visits. The staff are friendly and charismatic and very helpful if you have any questions or want recommendations. They also do cocktail making evenings sometimes which are really fun and certainly an experience, I’d recommend keeping an eye out for these events. My partner has also hosted a private board game event here outside of normal opening hours and the owners were really great hosts and super accommodating.

I went to this cafe having tried others in Ramsgate I thought it was nicely decorated I took a seat by the window. I ordered one of the breakfasts which was a bit of a disappointment as it tasted really salty. But the real reason why I wouldn't recommend this place is because I saw a frail, elderly woman come in on a wheely zimmer frame only to be turned away because she wasn't a "paying customer". The poor woman looked really desperate and struggled out of the cafe and I regretted not saying something in the moment as the only paying customer in the place. The two women working there made a comment that there were public toilets at the seafront - quite a way to walk with a zimmer frame - and I just said at that point that I thought they should have let her go. One of the waitresses told me that they have to pay for the resources for the toilets and that it would make more work for her. Seeing as I was the only person in there and there were at least three people working it just made me uncomfortable and left a bad taste in my mouth, so I left the salty breakfast and found somewhere else to go.

Lovely cafe in Ramsgate centre. Bustling with charm, individuality and puns. The food at zest is always really fresh, creative and feel good. Lots of vegan options and always something interesting. Tried 5/6 of the vegan dishes over last few years and all were wonderful (the dirty chai latte is also sensational). Owners and staff very friendly. Always a must visit on our annual trip to Ramsgate.

Visited for the first time today for lunch with my wife and one child. I was tempted in by the reasonable prices and choice of food including the healthy options. I must say my expectations were more than exceeded. Everything is thoughtful, lots of extra details that make for a lovely meal. Ingredients were good quality, for example I love Kim Chi, the one they use here is a very high standard. Smoothie was fresh and full of flavour. Owners were lovely and hospitable. Even the comfort room is nice, with querky decor, auto lights, messages concerning environmental protection, a large supply of freshly washed hand drying towels to reduce the amount of rubbish produced. As I say lots of little nice touches that add up to an enjoyable experience. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.
Best vegan breakfast in Ramsgate (and quite possibly whole of UK)! Lovely atmosphere as well. Loads of options. Must try the vegan breakfast + homemade hot chocolate

Honestly the best breakfast in Ramsgate and we've tried pretty much all places. The food is fresh, with loads of great homemade twists. Just had lunch for the first time and was very impressed. So glad we live so close!

Me and my friend came for lunch today and me being a vegan we never know where to go for food but this place ticked every single box ! Staff were so lovely and the food was so freshly made and tasted amazing! if your a vegan around ramsgate you need to try this place almost everything on their menu was vegan or had a vegan option! So impressed!

Popped in here for a coffee and piece of cake whilst in Ramsgate. We got a table inside and the restaurant and tables were nice and clean. The service was good, the coffees were nice and the cakes were delicious
