Original review below from 2017, sadly as of Nov 2023 now seems to be closed. Facebook showed closure as of July but hours not updated. Wasn't open on a Saturday afternoon/evening when we visited.Fantastic hospitality, great beers. need to come back to try the food!

It's changed a lot. Clientelle is different. No food anymore. Nice enough place but not what it was.

cheap pints (and they really are soooo reasonably priced!), good range- can have ale, cider, stout, whiskey, wine etc. and all taste great! phenomenal service, lovely comfortable wooden tables and benches (which are all homemade), decor is great with some really interesting artwork from a local artist, does nice food too and really lovely people. couldnt recommend this enough! it just has a really nice atmosphere!

A bit out if the way but an excellent watering hole with excellent friendly staff & a good selection of real ales. Wine also available but without doubt beer is the biggest attraction. Not a big place......would call it cosy!! We stayed & didn't bother moving on. It was great!

The food is fantastic and reasonably priced, and the beer is local and has never disappointed. Again, very reasonably priced too. Friendly atmosphere and good vibes. The owners are crazy, but extremely welcoming, friendly people

Great micropub with some excellent real ales and good conversation. Unlike other micropubs the Frog serves food but not just any food, it's a fantastic selection of French inspired dishes by their microchef. They also sell a few local gins such as Copper Rivet and Anno. I just love the whole atmosphere of the place and would highly recommend it if you're in the area. It can get busy at times so be prepared that you might not get a seat.

Very enjoyable meal complemented with a lovely selection of real ale.

A little lacking in choice of ales this time. Probably busy on Saturday. Could do with a bit more choice of soft drinks. However we know this is great place and friendly people.

Lovely micro pub, good beer and a great bar man, the owners were away but Jeff kept us entertained, highly recommended will definitely be back.

Great place with yummy food. Not very good for soft drinks, but big beer selection. Vegetarian and vegan option (however vegan is more expensive)

Wonderful quirky gem of a micropub. Delicious honest food and an excellent choice of beers. Just made my first visit and already looking forward to the next.

Cosy little micropub away from the hustle and bustle of the town centre but still busy. Unusual to have an open kitchen serving crepes and other stuff (I didn't see the menu). And they have an amazing pub dog too. It will wanna eat you food though. Good beer selection and good atmosphere.
