What a gem of a local pub! Unlike other village pubs, this one is truly welcoming. Nobody looked us up and down and the barman, Will was delightful and friendly.We ate from the menu, although there were several daily specials. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, too.The owners were all in the pub and were like Will friendly and inclusive. Before long, we felt like locals, too. This is a MUST when you're in the area.We were looking for a nice place to watch the champion's league final. . and the place was quite full already.It was obvious that we were from out of town.. but we were welcomed as old friends back from a long trip.... And were given premier seating right in front of the tv set !A hearty thanks to the staff and the patrons of the star inn ..it's really a sense of feeling at home even though you are abroad.Cheers and looking forward to coming...read full review
