Visited The Honey Pot in Shoreham yesterday with my friend and our daughters. The owners were wonderful with our girls and made us feel so welcome. Lunch was delicious and served quickly. Lunch bags for the kids was perfect for their ages and had lots of choices. We loved that it is just a short walk from the river in the heart of shoreham and we enjoyed the beautiful views while walking off our lunch. Looking forward to revisiting already.

Fantastic scone, clotted cream and jam. I haven't had better. Warm and fresh, tasted like it had just come out the oven. Equally warm staff too, very welcoming indeed!

Went here yesterday for lunch. Had a friendly welcome from staff, very clean facilities, delicious food. I would highly recommend coming here. Friendly, attentive staff, had gluten-free food, and lots of choices from the menu. Very good value for money.

The Honey Pot is more accurately the Funny Pot.Pros :Located in village popular with walkers and visitors.Always has gluten free cakes baked by celiac owner.Outside area (4 tables)Clean outdoor toilet (one)Pleasant owner and staffAlcohol gel on every tableGood tea in a potCons :No designated parking (park on street)Unsuitable for cyclistsOnly open at weekendsIt's a small, cramped converted garage and car port. Can get loud and claustrophobic.Only cold water in toilet sinkLocked barn door entrance is unwelcoming.Motivational messages on walls (yuk)1960s vibe. Cutsie decor.Plastic table covers and cheap seating.Lots of plastic plants and flowers (what are they thinking!!)Bready scones. Clotted cream in a sealed, single use plastic pot.Opinion: This business needs to update into the 21st century. Despite being gluten intolerant we very much disliked this experience. If you found the review informative then please like it. Thank you.
Visited today as part of a large group for a baby shower. Staff were brilliant and attentive and the afternoon tea was delicious. Catered to all dietary requirements. Thank-you.

The owner (man) is abrupt, rude and unwelcoming. Unfortunately we had to give this tearoom our custom as my brother with special needs needed food/drink, however if he wasn’t with us we would have moved on. I will not be coming here again, which is a shame because the ladies that work there are lovely, and the food was nice.

We stayed nearby for a family wedding and the staff were very accommodating in reserving a table for 12 of us for the following day. Menu had a lovely choice and the staff did say they could make something even if it wasn’t on their menu. The food was so good! We even purchased cakes and scones to take away. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
