Perfect brunch pub. They also serve a mean chicken and bacon club. Good selection of beers. Dog friendly. Perfect.

My wife, myself and our grownup daughter had lunch here a couple of days ago. The pub used to be called 'The Black Boy' which my wife and I used when we were courting 55 years ago. Price's have changed since then but first impression on walking in ,was it was like a pub should be. Basic furniture, spacious and welcoming. I found the menu a pleasant change from the usual pub menu, a little quirky which was good. I had Welsh Rarebit, my wife and daughter had Ploughman's sandwich. They were brilliantly presented and adequate. The rest of the menu was interesting and made a good change from the usual pub menus.

We had a great evening here for our School class parents night out in early December. The pub was buzzing when we arrived with a great atmosphere. Ryan the bar manager greeted us and directed us to an area I had reserved with Will the Landlord as we were having a small Christmas buffet. The food was excellent and plentiful and we were very well looked after by Ryan and the other bar staff especially considering how busy the pub was. Would definitely recommend

We had an event here at lunchtime on a busy Saturday afternoon. The food was excellent. The staff were friendly and the fire created a lovely atmosphere. We will be back.

Great atmosphere, lots of dogs, which is always a plus in my opinion, shame the ran out of food so early.
Lovely landlord and great food. Wish the council parking nearby was a bit cheaper, but don't let this put you off - well worth a visit!

Great outdoors if the weather is good. Outdoors is on pedestrian lane in the centre of Sevenoaks . Many breakfast options and reasonably priced.

Lovely place with excellent outdoor seating, in the quiet pedestrian heart of Sevenoaks Town Centre.

We went to this pub on the strength of the reviews. I would not go again. I found the staff rude and dismissive and the food not good value at all. The chips are what I call lazy chips, skin on fries. The ham was one slice cut into 4 and layered to look like more. Eggs were snotty. The other diners with me were equally unimpressed. Food is over priced and underwhelming. I've had far better and more reasonably priced in roadside cafes and the staff were more amiable too.

Good atmosphere but food service was very slow with no warning it was over 45min wait and when it arrived it was not as hot as you would expect.
A nice place for a couple of
