11-Mar-23: Visited for lunch after a walk in Knole Park. The quiche & salad was absolutely delicious. I've since had a takeaway of the same dish, to bring home, which was equally good.
Not my first time at Basil and it certainly won’t be my last. I love coffee and a Macchiato is always my first choice but having been disappointed too many times by baristas interpretation of this I often end up with the worlds smallest latte so I end up ordering‘a single shot of espresso with a spoonful of froth please’Brilliantly today Lucy said ‘I don’t want to be patronising but we call that a Macchiato!’I have found my go to coffee shop in Sevenoaks.An added bonus...read full review

Disappointed as an independent business that they don’t take cash, was looking for somewhere independent that we could regularly go for coffee and a snack. Sadly I will not be returning, if they don’t want my cash they clearly don’t want my business.The only upside was that the server was very pleasant.Strange though that you had a tip box for real money so it’s good enough for that!
