We have had breakfast here several times and it’s is always very good. The vintage theme is a lovely touch and the staff (in their tea dresses) are friendly and welcoming. The food is served quickly and is delicious. It’s also really good value for money
I can honestly say that I am usually pretty fussy about food I eat out. I have been to the Bayleaf twice now for breakfast and have not been disappointed. The vintage theme is lovely, young staff make it appealing for all. Very well run, efficient and friendly service. They accommodate changes to menue choice and food is well presented, hot and very good value for money. As with most places cost of drinks in someway are disproportionate to food. Lovely little independent tea room, exactly what is needed in Roman square. We ordered an all day breakfast and coffees. The cakes looked fantastic too and all served with beautiful antique China cups and saucers.Everything was lovely and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back and recommending to others.
