I love this pub. Superb pint of Goachers, food is outstanding, lovely atmosphere, yeah it’s a little weathered, but I like that, - us traditionals call it character. A proper Kentish country pub.

Visited for the first time on Saturday, hope they won't be offended but it looks a little tatty from the outside, needs a repaint, but don't be put off, head inside for a very warm welcome and a beautiful hop adorned bar. We ordered two pints of Jakes cider and two different ploughman's and went and sat at a table in the garden under oak tree, when our ploughman's came, very nice, lots of variety, top quality ingredients, it was a shame we had only got time for lunch as we could have stayed all afternoon. Will definitely be going back to try dinner.Vegetarian options: LotsKid-friendliness: Lots

I Booked a table and had an evening meal here. Very friendly establishment with quality beer, excellent food and a choice if teas too. We had the veggie stirfry and beef stirfry with apple and quince pie as desert. Verb tasty and well presented. No noisy guests and a cheerful fire too. Definitely recommend and will go there again.

You can always rely on a lovely meal at the Lord Raglan. Very good menu and great value for money. Probably the best steak in the county.

We had another really delicious meal here! People are lovely and the beer (esp. Harvey's Best) is fab and the home made puds are to die for! Will defo be back! xxx

Wonderful pub, friendly staff and delicious, well presented and reasonably priced food. Not an vast menu, but everything is fresh and beautifully cooked. The pub is set in a lovely orchard and off the main road. It’s dog friendly and delightful and somewhere to keep going back to.

Waited ages for our food when it did arrive it was nice. One of our group is diabetic and has a strict eating programe Then waited ages again for coffee which was thrown down on the table. Waitress run off her feet whilst the young man behind bar was just standing and on his mobile. Need to work together as a team!

If you want a cutting edge pub with a shiny bar, flashy lights and music, your are in the WRONG place. Some of the regulars have been there longer than the furniture and can provide a unique insight on current affairs. That covers a period from just after the Boer War to events happening just after tomorrow.I like this pub. A lot. A great pint of Harvey's or Goachers which always drinks well. Dogs are likely to be there in numbers. That is the mark of a good establishment in my book.An honest menu which changes less often than an Italian Government, but with vastly superior service, there is little to dislike about this wonderful out of the way gem. Please don't go there. There may not be room for me if you do go!
