“Had a fantastic visit to The George this afternoon. Exemplary service by Jonathan who could answer every question we had about the menu items. The last time I had such attentive and polite service was at the Beaufort Bar in The Savoy! The trio roast, lamb rump, fillet steak, chipotle chicken, sticky toffee pudding and summer fruit pavlova were all nothing short of excellent. Will be back soon.”

“I was recommended The George Inn as a place for a good pub lunch and we were not disappointed - I love a pub lunch and this was one of the best pub lunches I've ever had! The food was really yummy - fresh, good portions - I had the curry of the day and it was so tasty - my daughter stole my poppadom! I had a glass of wine too which was a very good chardonnay. The pub was a bit further out that we would usually travel for a pub lunch but it was worth it and we'll definitely be visiting again.”

“Went to a friend's birthday bash so prices didn't come into it. Quite a large pub that catered well for the party. The pub has live music some nights and the atmosphere, like the staff was very friendly. The only criticisms I have are the lack of a working air conditioning unit in the function room (on a very hot night) and just the one member of staff serving a lot of the time which lead to sometimes long waits for a cool pint in an extremely hot room.”
