Lovely pub. My partner and I didn’t have a booking so we dropped in on the off chance that we could get some food on a Sunday. The staff accommodated us, which we really appreciated. I had the mixed roast (beef, pork & lamb) which was delicious! My partner had the venison pie, which he enjoyed too. Thanks to the guy with dreadlocks, who was very attentive ?

We don't live in Frant, but make sure to visit The George several times a year. Not once have the staff, the service, the welcome, or the food ever disappointed. Last night was no different. As a group of 7 at a very busy time of year (22 December), we made sure to book ahead, which I recommend doing.As expected, the welcome was warm the food fabulous (try the local venison) and the service excellent despite the pub being very busy. Excellent!

The first time I've been here and it has a very old homely feel to it. The owner is very polite and funny and very accommodating to any needs you have or even if you want to add/remove something from your meal. The atmosphere is great and because it's such a old pub is seems more inviting than the new modern pubs. The food was absolutely amazing.
