Pubs • “I danced the night away on the sloping floors in this small and intimate space. The crowd were funkin’. Project F are tight. Ginger Bennett is dynamite. I could hardly believe I was at a FREE event. This was THE best night out I have had in a LONG time. Thanks to the bar staff who accommodated my very peculiar drink request - you remember? ?”

Pubs • “After exhaustive research of Whitstable watering holes...of which there area healthy few, The Coach has become our favourite.The staff, and owners are all so friendly, welcoming and chatty (if that's your thing... respectful if not) and give the place a real positive vibe with great customer service. Example; they had run out of a favourite tipple from one visit to the next, but by the time of ordering our 2nd round it had been secured elsewhere and was in the optics!It has a well stocked bar, including the best pint of Guinness in The Bubble, and an impressive spirits selection including some locally made which is nice.Oh btw, not tried the food, but given 5*s as they serve Taytos!”
“Waited for years to get an evening booking at The Sportsman, went here as part of a 28th wedding anniversary weekend to Whistable.We heard some negative comments about there only being a taster menu, but having had the same at other restaurants we were in no way deterred.The food did not disappoint in any way & actually for £80 the taster menu was amazing value, especially as there was the ability to choose most of the courses within the menu.Ingredients were obviously of high standard & excellently prepared & cooked.We had plenty of time before our taxi returned not be rushed in any way & each course came at a really good pace.Eagerly looking forward to visiting again in the future, a big thanks to the whole of the Sportsman Team.”
