We was in the area house-hunting and decided (as we found a property) we would check out all the area. Came across the Plough as its only a 10 min walk from the house we will be buying so hoping it would be good, as it would be a local for us. We have 2 dogs an English Bulldog & a Frenchie who were with us, my wife went in first to ask are dogs allowed (the dogs go everywhere with us) BONUS a dog friendly bar. Came in for the Sunday roast and it was absolutely delicious. Food was freshly cooked, served quickly and with friendly service. Very generous portion sizes. I would recommend to anyone. We'll be back again soon.
