Took the opportunity to have a drive out in the recent hot sunshine and saw the Rose and Bloom as we meandered down the beach Road. What a spot! Fantastic views, choice of sunny or shady seating, decent car park, friendly service, nice atmosphere. We had the prawns kebab and the battered cod, both were first class. We had dressed crab and mozzarella sticks (both came with chips and crab with a salad as well). Good portion sizes but with 2 soft drinks came to £50, so slightly pricy.View to the sea was nice and is dog friendly.

Lovely pub in pleasant surroundings. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff/owners. Food couldn’t fault, had the chicken wings and garlic mushrooms to start, plentiful to share between 3 of us. The steak and ale pie was homemade and tasted delicious, plenty of chips and fresh vegetables to go. As I said couldn’t fault anything and would highly recommend a visit.
