Went out for a Sunday lunch and found this gem of a pub just off the M6. Lovely warm and comforting atmosphere with a choice of great beers on tap. Ordered a beef roast dinner and was very impressed with the presentation and the taste. The team were friendly and very welcoming, coming back to check on our table to see how our dining experience was. We will definitely be back. Great job!
This historic pub has just changed hands and word about it is slowly spreading. Hopefully the xmas season will help it get on its feet. We were to late to order food, so I did not give it a star, but I believe some of the kitchen staff have been retained. So it should be as good as it always was.
