Phenomenal food.If you're going to go here and expect a 15-minute wait between ordering and eating, you can forget about it.This place is like going to your favourite auntys house. It's homemade, fresh, quality food. Every single thing gets made once it's ordered, so expect to sit and spend some quality time with whoever you're with. The flavours were insane, soooo good! Each thing we ordered was on point! Especially the coconut flavoured chicken. We normally always over-order and end up with leftovers, but every single item got finished. We had homemade kulfi ice cream afterwards, which was deliciously rich and creamy. The service was friendly and welcoming - like I said, it's like going to your aunty's house.Would definitely recommend going and trying a few dishes. It's relatively well priced and well worth a visit.

A real taste of East African food. Good presentation and well prepared. Service w took a little longer but that's because everything was freshly prepared and cooked. Some have commented about the extended wait time but in my opinion I would rather wait for that freshly cooked food than get served prepared food.Kid-friendliness: Accommodation for children is good

Me and my husband both really enjoyed our meals. Everything is made fresh with the finest of ingredients. I got the chooza chicken and it was one of the best chickens I’ve tried. Really flavourful dish. The vimto mocktail was delicious and so was the Kulfi. Must try place!

Ambience & mocktails are ok - but that’s about all there is to recommend this place …chips are blah (even our local Pizza King has better quality). Malai corn cob cores were cold to touch. The loaded steak & chips wasn’t steak just lamb meat chunks in a bland tomato sauce dumped on chips with a flavourless cheese sauce & a sprinkle of coriander. The mixed grill was more charcoal than meat of this the ribs were non existent. No one came and asked are you enjoying your food ? everything ok? EtcWe were paying for the food so yes we finished it was edible but nothing to write home about. We came with high expectations having read reviews. All I can say is are the reviews even real?!?Vegetarian options: A few vegetarian/vegan options available.Parking: Parking available in nearby streets

Amazing little family run business with the most delicious, mouthwatering dishes. Make sure you check out this little hidden gem. The Chooza Chicken and Lamb Kebabs are also must try dishes. Quickly becoming my favourite place to eat in Blackburn. ??????

Absolutely loved the food. We ordered the mixed grill, which is probably one of the best I have tasted. Everything was cooked beautifully and the meat was so tender. The flavours were wonderful. The fish curry and rice were lovely. The owners came and spoke to us and were so friendly . Highly recommend

This is place is a hidden gem tucked away in a corner of Whalley New Road. One person of our group was quite skeptical about the outside decor of this place before entering but do not be fooled. The owners and the chef are very warm, hospitable and they explained in detail the items on the menu. We were very very excited since non of us actually have tried East African cuisine. Admittedly, there was a wait for the food to come out as everything was piping hot and fresh, even their home made sauces felt like they were made on the day! The food these guys serve is honest, traditional and truly delicious! The mix grill was cooked to perfection with the meat still juicy and tender after it had cooled down unlike most places where it just turns to a chewy mess (you know what I mean) the Keema Roti arrived and was demolished in minutes! The chicken Poussin thing was vv flavourful, I'm not a breast guy but even the breast was tender and delicious. The owner also allowed us to sample his homemade kulfi, he explained the painstaking process of how its made, but it is one of best I've ever tried. Honestly, give this place a try! It may not look all fancy and done up from the outside but will not regret it!Parking: On street parking plentiful
