Some relatives brought me a box of sweets (mithai) from SHANDAR sweets blackburn. I couldn’t stop my hands off the box once I tasted. Reminded me of our traditional Pakistani Mithai. I have never tasted such a Mithai in ?? UK since I came here. THANK YOU VERY MUCH to bring this desi taste here. ?? ?
Been using Shandar for many years. I particularly like the fish, but you have to know when to buy it ie: when it's fresh. I have been unable to visit the shop since covid however, and the shop is not in my town so my recent visit was only the second this year. However, I bought kebab rolls and samosas and found them good as ever. It is my go to shop for Asian food in Blackburn, you buy from where you know is good. Say no more.

The best HALWA POORI in the town without any doubt. They also do all types of traditional Pakistani sweets and savouries.Parking sometimes can be a mission but the taste of the food is worth going through that mission.
