This is my dad's local and he said that they had just started breakfast so we gave it ago. Lovely service and good quality breakfast items that were cooked perfectly. Definetly worth a visit

We went here with the family and everyone enjoyed it! Really friendly staff and the food was delicious. My partner had the beef burger with chips and coleslaw and I had the chicken burger which was really succulent ? They had a really nice beer garden too which was lovely in the sunshine. We will definitely be returning soon!

We went to this lovely pub on Sunday to have a nice drink in the beer garden and eat lunch. The staff we so welcoming, the food was amazing, so tasty and fresh, and the beer garden was lovely and they had a great band playing out there too which was great entertainment. I will definitely be back. Get the chicken burgers ready for me ??

Tha food was nice and I like the new decor. I would have given it a higher rating. But the food took sooooo long to come. They apologised as it was a new chef. I will go back again as it is a great little pub. And once the chef is established I am hoping the starter does not take nearly 50 mins to arrive. Otherwise, it is a great traditional pub with nice food and a good atmosphere

My partner and I just had our evening dinner at ‘The Royal Oak’. We both had panini with fries and salad. Wow! Absolutely delicious, filling and value for money.I couldn’t recommend a better place for a low cost, delicious snack meal. We’ll both be doing this again, regularly as it saves on cooking your own food and then the hassle of washing up.Lovely, clean and fresh smelling local bar with friendly staff and locals, with plenty of friendly banter. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Went for a birthday party. Decent food, lovely staff, nice old building and good beer. What to expect from a decent local.

Visited for Sunday lunch after finishing a football match close by. There were 2 adults and 2 children all of whom thoroughly enjoyedthe Sunday lunch - a great sized meal cooked beautifully with a separate gravy boat and condiments served individually to the table. The puddings were just the best. The sticky toffee pudding is the best I have ever eaten. Staff were brilliant especially the lady who told us her Mum was the chef. Will definitely be back, maybe on a Saturday to try something other than a Sunday dinner. Thanks all.
