Relaxing birthday meal, went with my daughters partners mother, so, mums together, eating out before going to watch Gail Porter: (Loved her) Both events enjoyed and paid for by our kids. What more could a mummy ask for. ?? Beef Bourguignon; amazing texture and flavour, perfect portion size. We visited to celebrate a birthday, Having been many times previously, everything was up to par. We were well received. Pre-dinner drinks were served promptly. Shown to our table, our orders were taken and the courses arrived in a timely but unhurried manner. Service was efficient and friendly and there was time for some good two-way banter. After having a couple of meals at The Knowles Arms we decided to visit with family so booked a table. On arrival we were taken straight to our table which was great for us as it had plenty of space for our mam who requires walking aids We were asked if we wanted water which was brought to us. After ordering it was a good 30 mins before our starter arrived and at least 30mins between our starter being cleared and mains arriving.
