This is not the bar I would ever be visiting ever again and I was told that I look under age when I am 33 years old. I was asked for proof of age that I look 25years old?? This bar is very disturbed people in this pub if you can call it that,,?? I guess that the wrong people go here and any lady's do not want to go here on your own has they ask you to meny questions and made me feel unwanted.

On arriving, the impression was that of a good local pub frequented by locals but also welcomed visitors and had a good selection of different drink options.
Horrible attitude from bar woman. Said wait wen i put card through,nastily,no manners. Card was read both times straight away,so she just had chip on shoulder. Very rude bar woman,iffy wen i first went in. She has attitude problem.

Very likeable community pub on Topping Street with a warm, communicative atmosphere. Predictably, the cask ale selection isn't exactly overwhelming, but the few ones on tap are being kept in good condition. In comparison to many other such establishments around town, this is definitely one of the better ones. I attended on a karaoke night (No, I didn't sing - I don't want to violate the Geneva Conventions), and the mood was very friendly. Had a pint of Timothy Taylor Landlord. Not the most exciting cask ale in the world, but nice enough when kept well.
