Very likeable community pub on Topping Street with a warm, communicative atmosphere. Predictably, the cask ale selection isn't exactly overwhelming, but the few ones on tap are being kept in good condition. In comparison to many other such establishments around town, this is definitely one of the better ones. This is a great little pub with some good beer choices. Timothy Taylor Landlord and Madri being 2 fine examples. When we went there was karaoke going on. The atmosphere was brilliant, even over lunch time. There was a group in that were really happy, having won a competition at the winter Gardens.
