I just had the worst pint of beer I’ve had in a long time. Apart from being too warm, it tasted of mould. Clearly somebody has been neglecting to clean their pipes. I can confidently predict that tomorrow I will find myself with a sore throat and a runny bottom. Thanks a bundle. May I suggest to the owners that they sell up and find themselves a business where they’re less likely to poison their customers?

Lovely pub hidden just off the main strip. Went with wife and 2 young kids. Quite a calm relaxed atmosphere after the madness of the Blackpool amusements. Everyone enjoyed their food. I also had a very nice ale. Definitely recommended for families when in Blackpool. Made to feel welcome as a young family with toddler and baby.Kid-friendliness: Made to feel welcome as a young family with toddler and baby.

Great place that is dog friendly. Staff bent over backwards to serve us and my disabled mother.Very friendly staff who after explaining had just ran out of fish asked what we wanted, very helpful offering an alternative. Fish arrived just as they served us.The food came from the chip shop on the front which was very enjoyable. The sign says 'TOMORROWS FISH IS STILL IN THE SEA'. Which shows that everything is fresh.No13 is a great place with original decor. There is no disabled ramp for wheelchairs but the staff was very accommodating even to the point of offering to lift the scooter in.Happy to post a 5 star review.

This pub is lovely... every time we come to Blackpool we call in x Sunday lunch always smells delicious.... we thought we'd give it a try ??? wish we hadn't... we booked on Saturday for Sunday 4pm ..we arrived on time got a drink x sat down. ..then the meal was brought (best way to describe it is we got 2 plates of slop x a frozen Yorkshire on top. It looked like it had been slopped on plate ..with all sorts of veg mixed together (peas.carrots.corn green beans .cauliflower cheese x broccoli) x stuffing on roast beef dinner .it felt like they'd forgotten our booking x just plated up what dregs were left over ....soooooo never again x sooooo disappointed we just left .

Great friendly pub. Landlady very friendly, great selection of beers, wine, great character, spotlessly clean, central location, we will be back.

The pub is so traditional inside. Spotlessly clean and worth a visit for the good (large) selection of ales and other beverages. We were introduced to it many years ago when it was called the Pump and Truncheon… aptly named due to being across the road from the Police Station. Not much has changed since then it’s tucked away in a rather forgotten street. Well worth looking it up though. Cheers!

Three Real Ales on: Well Drawn Brewery - Bedwas Bitter, Cross Bay - Sunset, both in very good condition and Salopian - Shropshire Gold also available.Pleasant visit after a few years and good to see the continued success of what is becoming a rare occurrence in the region, a house that still serves Real Ale!! Thank you
