This was our favourite go-to Chinese takeout for years. We haven't been since the pandemic started because it coincided with my mother's decline into ill health. Tonight, she fancied chicken curry, a proper one not a bland version. My brother and wife were over from France, with a fancy for chicken and special chow mein. We went to our no 1 Chinese. Lovely service, immaculate preparation, and beautiful food. And my mother, who has eaten so little in recent weeks, ate the lot, with gusto and evident delight. It's the first time she has cleared her plate in YEARS and we are all delighted. Plus four excellent take outs for £23 - with free spring rolls and prawn crackers thrown in by Pearl City - we can't thank the staff enough. We will be back. We can't apologise enough for leaving it so long...Parking: Easily accessed by night.

Very cheap! The hot and soup soup is amazing!Some meals are very basic but I think for the cost of food it's worth it.I did enjoy the food. I have been back twice.

Been using this chinese for years now, never fails, the owners and their family are all so lovely and polite, food is always hot and freshly made, super tasty and an absolute bargain compared to most chineses that charge a mortgage for their dishes!

Last weekend I ordered a number of starter, main and side dishes for while-you-wait takeaway. The food was reasonably priced and all well-cooked, with no excess of starch or spice or oils. Thank you!

Came here because chip shops were shut on new year's eve. What a find. Chose a dish I had never had before, was delicious. Fresh food. Friendly staff, great all round experience, thank you!

My family and I have been visiting this Chinese for years and they always deliver the best quality food. It’s not over stating it to say that it’s the best Chinese I’ve ever had (having had many). Their duck it perfectly cooked every time, their Thai green curry always amazing. Their spring rolls are perfect and I cannot recommend highly enough their Singapore chow mien. Countless other Chinese restraints I’ve eaten from have tasted like an English take on Chinese and some where only flavoured with the same curry sauce that chippys use. This take away will always deliver authentic and delicious food. If you would prefer the authentic food to deep fried brown stuff that other Chinese take always sell then this is the perfect place for you. Their food is delicious time and time again with never a bad meal served.

1st of all its a takeaway not a restaurant, we ordered a couple of meals for pick up when we got home the rice didn't look very appetizing and the foo young looked a little different from other Chinese takeaways, In the chicken fried rice was thin slices of processed chicken the type you get from a supermarket not normal chicken. Both meals were very poor & the taste was so disgusting we just put it in the bin. First and last time at this place ?.
