Old traditional style pub, very busy, seemed like a good local. The food was good, not too much choice, though. Prices were reasonable. Enjoyable couple of hours with family within walking distance.

Had lunch here and was nice enough...great real ale.....cheap real ale on a Tuesday. Brilliant beer garden when the sun shows its face. Polite staff. Horseracing popular on TV if that's your thing.. Live football is a huge hit also. Highly recommended..

Everything was perfect. A nice old pub, comfortable and welcoming. The food was excellent and great value too. Did a online search for pubs in Blackpool with good food, and ended up here thanks to all the good comments about the Saddle.I can happily add to those good comments. Enjoyable visit.
