Visited The Saddle Inn twice now. I returned for a 2nd visit on the strength of the 1st visit with my wife & son in April 2022. The pub is ideally situated for visits to Blackpool FC - only 15 mins walk. Although obviously a locals pub, the welcome was warm. A good selection of hand pulled real ale with a friendly service. Dog friendly with treats and water readily available. Food is ridiculously excellent value. £7.49 for a good burger and chips PLUS soft drink. Crazy good! Atmosphere is proper Northern pub outside of the Blackpool promenade.

Everything was perfect. A nice old pub, comfortable and welcoming. The food was excellent and great value too. Did a online search for pubs in Blackpool with good food, and ended up here thanks to all the good comments about the Saddle.I can happily add to those good comments. Enjoyable visit.
